By cutting the VENT Systems Ridge Vent RV10P in half the perfect ventilation product for both abutment or mono-pitch barge details.

The VENT Systems Ridge Vent RV10P-HALF is engineered to expel air from the roof void using natural convection, as warmer air rises, or through negative pressure generated by wind passing over the roof. Featuring an adhesive and flexible aluminium flashing, the RV10P-HALF conforms to various roofing profiles, effectively preventing water ingress. It’s designed to be compatible with roof cladding profiles having a trough depth of less than 34mm.

This product ensures compliance with the National Construction Code 2022 Vol 1: F8D5/ABCB Housing Provisions Standard 10.8.3.

The RV10P-HALF operates year-round without requiring any moving parts or energy consumption. Serving as a discreet alternative to traditional rotary-driven (whirlybird) vents, the RV10P-HALF doesn’t necessitate roof cladding penetration and is concealed by ridge capping or flashings upon installation.

It’s strongly recommended to incorporate high-level vents with some form of Over Fascia or Eaves ventilation for optimal performance.

For application in BAL zones, the RV10P-HALF can be enhanced with an ember guard crafted from non-combustible, corrosion-resistant materials such as steel, bronze, or aluminium mesh, ensuring maximum safety. The mesh aperture conforms to Clause 3.6 of AS3859:2018, with a maximum allowable opening of 2 mm.
